dress from Nasty Gal; combat boots and coat from Target; gifted necklace
My goal with this outfit was to look like I was styled by one of the girls at Nasty Gal. Their stylists always make the models look like free-spirited girly girls ready to kick some ass. I adore combining both tough and delicate elements in a look.

Saturday we took the one-act play "Jessica and Jolene" to competition. We got the most ridiculous judge in the galaxy who just decided she didn't like the show and judged based on her opinion of the subject matter rather than the hard work that went into the acting. We were all raging mad afterwards, but what matters is that we made the audience bawl their eyes out. Obviously it was a damn good show. And I had a wonderful experience on the trip. We went to a gelato shop after the performance, and I tried a sample of the blackberry merlot flavor that tasted so alcoholic I felt like I should have been ID'd for it. I ended up selecting a scoop of grapefruit and a scoop of "death by chocolate." I could go on and on about how perfect the combination was, one so rich and one so refreshing. Gelato is quite possibly the most delicious thing on earth. I also got to know some of the underclassmen in our drama troupe a little better. I do miss acting. I do not miss the teacher though. **grrrrr**
May the force be with you.

P.S. Let's take a moment to appreciate how hilarious 80s metal music videos are. This is amazing.

The sleeves and back of that dress are absolutely amazing! Sheer, polka-dots, open back... Everything there is flawless. Also, the coat looks like it could let anyone get away with pretending to be Warren Buffet-rich, and I like that.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is awesome and so is the jacket <3 Love them. Boots too, but atm Ii am personally fed up that type of boots, I wore one pair to death. but of coz they go perfectly with your outfit.
ReplyDeleteYup, 80's music videos are hilarious but that song (like all by Judas Priest) is awesome ;D
